Cyberwomen 2019: Event for women in IT security

The event “Cyberwomen 2019” will take place at the Haus der Bayerischen Wirtschaft in Munich on 25 June 2019. With this event, the organizers aim to create a public forum for women in IT security create.

The Cyberwomen event is intended to give the scene's players the opportunity to regularly exchange ideas and network with each other. In the future, the event will take place once a year.

Female security experts from both the public and private sectors, at all career stages, from students to CISOs, are welcome. The organizers also warmly welcome men.

Cyberwomen 2019 is organized by the IT security company Infodas, a partner of the Alliance for Cyber Security of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). Other partners and sponsors include Bitkom, Deloitte, Secunet, Isaca, Teletrust, Women4Cyber, and many more.

Cyberwomen 2019 program

The event begins at 9:00 a.m. with check-in. This is followed by a welcoming address from Bavarian Digital Minister Judith Gerlach at 9:45 a.m. Participants can expect various panel discussions, including on topics such as "Women's Careers in Cybersecurity," "Where Are the Next Generation Female Cyber Experts?", and "Do Women Manage and View IT Security Risks and IT Security Differently in Organizations?" There will also be various presentations, networking opportunities, and the presentation of the "Women in Cybersecurity" award. Refreshments will be provided.

The number of participants is limited to 200. Tickets cost 20 euros and can be purchased on site. All information about Cyber Women 2019
