Fraunhofer Venture's high-tech accelerator Techbridge (formerly Tandemcamp) is once again seeking startups. Applications are open until September 30, 2019.
The Techbridge program relies entirely on the cooperation between startups and Fraunhofer researchers. The focus is on the joint development of technologies and products as well as the further development of business models. Once a tandem—consisting of a startup and a Fraunhofer Institute—has been formed, Techbridge supports these collaborative projects.
The Fraunhofer startup tandems can not only receive a project budget of up to 60,000 euros, but will also be taught how agile cooperation between researchers and founders can work through various workshop formats.
Who can participate in Techbridge?
Techbridge is open to tandems consisting of Fraunhofer researchers and an external founding team pursuing a common project idea. These must be jointly defined and collaborative projects with exploitation potential for the institute or commercialization potential for the startup. The good news: If you, as a startup, don't yet have a Fraunhofer cooperation partner, Fraunhofer Venture supports you in your search.
Applications can be submitted until September 30, 2019. All important information about the application process and the program itself can be found here.
