The Munich start-up festival Bits & Pretzels has achieved a very special coup: Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, will give the opening speech of the three-day festival on September 29th.
In 2016, Munich Startup was already betting on whether Bits & Pretzels organizers Andy Bruckschlögl, Bernd Storm van's Gravesande, and Felix Haas would have hired Barack Obama. In the end, it was President Underwood aka Kevin Spacey, who gave an Oscar-worthy keynote speech three years ago.
Obama talks about leadership
All the more gratifying that President Obama will now open the conference on September 29. In a moderated discussion, he will speak about his time in office and about leadership. Leadership is a core theme of the Bits & Pretzels startup fair.
says Bits & Pretzels organizer Felix HaasHe adds:
“We are honored that President Barack Obama has accepted our invitation to Munich to share his experience and passion with our Bits & Pretzels community.”
Obama is expected to speak about leadership in times of crisis. After all, after his election in 2008, despite political obstacles, he was able to stabilize the American economy from the crisis, reform the healthcare system, and achieve greater social justice. Since the end of his presidency in 2016, he has continued to work to empower people to change the world together.
