Climedo Health receives millions in seed financing

The Munich-based startup Climedo Health has raised a seven-figure sum in seed funding. The healthcare startup plans to use the capital injection to further develop its software and expand internationally.  

Climedo Health is developing a cloud-based software platform for healthcareMedical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and research institutes can conduct clinical trials faster and more efficiently with the help of the Munich-based startup. By digitally connecting all stakeholders, the startup enables performance improvements, cost efficiency, and a faster market launch of medical innovations. In addition to various university hospitals, the Munich-based company also serves several industrial customers in the pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors.

Business angels and entrepreneurs participate in seed financing for Climedo

To further develop the offering, the three founders Veronika Schweighart, Sascha Ritz, and Dragan Mileskinun have secured a number of business angels from the healthcare sector as well as various entrepreneurs as investors in the seed round. Among others, Christian WallwienerManaging Director at the management consultancy WMC Healthcare, and WestTech Ventures, a Berlin-based investor that focuses particularly on B2B and Software as a Service (SaaS) business models.

explained Veronika Schweighart, Co-founder and COO of Climedo.

In addition to further developing the product and expanding its team, the startup also plans to expand further. Currently operating primarily in the DACH region, additional EU countries are expected to be entered into the market over the course of the coming year. Climedo is already covering initial studies that will be rolled out internationally, for example, in the USA.
