Another family fund contributed an additional €220,000. KFW Bank has now confirmed a further €1.3 million in equity capital from the ERP Start-up Fund.
About Cleverciti
Cleverciti Systems has developed a cost-effective sensor technology that enables a modern, digital parking management system. It efficiently records public parking spaces in cities:
The patent-pending Cleverciti sensors are integrated into building facades or existing streetlights. They scan the parking spaces along the streets every second. A single sensor can detect up to 100 parking spaces. The sensors transmit the precise GPS coordinates of the free or occupied parking spaces in real time to mobile devices, navigation systems, or local parking guidance systems, where they can be used by drivers.
At the same time, the city receives valuable data, not only on the occupancy status, but also on the utilization and paid use of the parking spaces it manages. This significantly reduces traffic searching for parking spaces and the resulting pollution in cities.
The first cities have already implemented the system. For example, the Hessian city of Bad Hersfeld is successfully using Cleverciti technology in central parking lots in its historic city center. Cleverciti Systems, founded by Thomas Hohenacker in 2012, is headquartered in Starnberg.
