UnternehmerTUM expands Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board of UnternehmerTUM has expanded: Prof. Dr. Dr. Ann-Kristin Achleitner, Chair of Entrepreneurial Finance at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), and Peter Schwarzenbauer, former member of the Board of Management of the BMW Group, have been appointed to the Supervisory Board of UnternehmerTUM since January 1, 2020.

Susanne Klatten, founder and chairwoman of the supervisory board of UnternehmerTUM, was pleased with the increase:

"We are very pleased to have been able to win Professor Ann-Kristin Achleitner and Mr. Peter Schwarzenbauer for the UnternehmerTUM Supervisory Board. Together, we want to further expand UnternehmerTUM's role as an innovation driver in the region, in Germany, and in Europe in the coming years."

The expansion primarily reflects the development of UnternehmerTUM into the leading innovation and start-up center in Germany and Europe, as well as the strategic reorientation of the collaboration with the Technical University of Munich. The goal is to further strengthen the interaction between the Technical University of Munich as an "entrepreneurial university" and its affiliated institute, UnternehmerTUM.

In addition to Susanne Klatten, the supervisory board of UnternehmerTUM also includes Professor Thomas F. Hofmann, President of the Technical University of Munich, and Dr. Konstantin Reetz, Managing Director of the Nantesbuch Foundation.
