LMU recruiting fair offers startups free booths

Companies from the banking and insurance, auditing, consulting, and technology sectors will gather at the recruiting fair FirmenKontaktGespräch (FKG) on May 18 and 19. They will compete for interns, working students, and new employees in the LMU main building. The fair organizers have reserved a total of 12 free booth spaces for startups, for which applications can be submitted until February 29.

The FKG is considered the largest student-organized campusRecruitingLMU Career Fairs. In addition to direct contact with numerous companies, students also have the opportunity to have one-on-one meetings and participate in workshops. During these approximately 30-minute one-on-one meetings, applicants and HR staff can get a feel for each other and find their top candidate or ideal company. In the workshops (with application) and presentations (without registration), companies also present realistic case studies or present career paths within their company. Klaus M. Schmidt, Professor of Economics at the LMU, explains to the FKG:

"For many students, the opportunity to do an internship or work as a student employee during their studies is a very important preparation for their future career. And the opportunity to do this early in their studies, to get in touch with companies, and to experience everyday working life, is certainly a very important addition to their studies."

Until 29 February for the CompanyContactConversation apply
