The Munich Business travel platform Lanes & Planes has raised $10 million in a Series A financing round led by Battery Ventures.
Lanes & Planes offers small and medium-sized companies a digital solution for business travel. Customers can save up to 30 percent on travel and processing costs. Founded in 2017 by Veit Blumschein and Daniel Nolte, the company's target market is Germany. Companies such as Edding, Herma, Personio, and Egym already use Lanes & Planes.
Investment aims to accelerate Lanes & Planes’ growth
The solution includes bookings, travel expense accounting, on-the-go apps, the transfer of travel data to downstream accounting systems, reporting, and the integration of travel policies into all processes. Managing Director and Co-Founder Veit Blumschein says:
"In the first years since the founding of Lanes & Planes, we have focused entirely on product development and will use this investment primarily to expand our customer portfolio in Germany. We have chosen to work with strong partners Battery and DN to enable even faster long-term growth."
