The EIT Digital Challenge deep-tech competition is once again accepting applications. Scaleups, i.e., fast-growing startups with an existing customer base, can apply in one of five thematic areas until June 7. Prizes totaling €350,000 are up for grabs.
The competition honors the best companies in the five categories of Digital Tech, Digital Cities, Digital Industry, Digital Wellbeing, and Digital Finance. The winning teams receive cash and non-cash prizes totaling €350,000.
“We will select 20 companies from among all applicants for the competition and invite them to an exclusive event in November, where they will present themselves to a jury of top-class companies and investors,”
says Dolf Wittkamper, Head of the EIT Digital Accelerator.
"During the event, a total of five winners will be announced—the challenge winner and the second to fourth place winners; they will all receive a full year of tailored support from the EIT Digital Accelerator worth €50,000. In addition, the competition winner will receive a cash prize of €100,000."
