The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship awards are once again honoring business ideas. Students, professors, staff, and alumni of Munich University of Applied Sciences can apply until August 16. Prize money totaling €30,000 will be awarded in three categories.
The Strascheg Award is the Munich University of Applied Sciences' ideas competition and is awarded in three categories for innovative business ideas. The competition seeks the best business ideas from a course (Category 1), from students' studies (Category 2), and from academia and practice (Category 3). Ideas, projects, and academic papers driven by entrepreneurial spirit are eligible to apply.
First-place winners of the Strascheg Award 2020 will each receive 5,000 euros
The decisive criteria for the Strascheg Award 2020 are the problem description, the solution approach, the degree of innovation, the market potential and the implementation plan of the idea. The submitted ideas will be evaluated in a multi-stage process by entrepreneurship experts from SCE and the Munich University of Applied Sciences, as well as an external expert jury. The award carries a cash prize of €30,000. In each of the three categories, the first- to third-place ideas will receive €5,000, €3,000, and €2,000, respectively. In addition, all participants will receive a personal consultation and qualified feedback on their business idea, as well as the opportunity for funding in the SCE's six-month proto-funding program.
