#CoronaUpdate with Uniki: “A product made for the crisis, we thought”

With its cloud server Elly, the Munich-based startup Uniki digitizes the work of small and medium-sized businesses—actually the ideal product for the current coronavirus crisis. Co-founder and CEO Roman Leuprecht shares in the #CoronaUpdate how the crisis has actually impacted his company so far.

A own cloud server for small and medium-sized businesses, with project management, time tracking, video conferencing, data exchange and social network: Uniki co-founder Roman Leuprecht says in the #CoronaUpdate about the server Elly:

“A product made for the crisis, we thought – but we were surprised again.”

Uniki in the Corona crisis: New customer boom followed by slump

At the beginning of the crisis, the Munich-based company recorded record months, was able to acquire numerous new customers and support existing customers in their transition to home office.

However, many companies then began to slow down their investments, which is reflected in a decline in new customer business at Uniki.

Leuprecht expects increasing sales after the coronavirus pandemic because:

"The crisis has shown one thing: modern IT infrastructure and location-independent working are enormously important. We can simply offer this with a level of security and convenience that no one else can."
