Bayern Kapital and several business angels finance the Munich IT startup Adnymics with a seven-figure sum. The capital will be used for product development and sales.
Adnymics offers online retailers a system that combines the advantages of targeted online advertising and print inserts. Founded in late 2014, the company's core product is "Target Packaging," a fully automated advertising production system for online retailers that combines online and print advertising. The system collects data on customer behavior in the online shop. Based on this data, Adnymics produces a customized, multi-page brochure that is enclosed with the customer's order. The advertising material is produced automatically and on-site in the online retailer's logistics department using digital printing presses. Under the name "Target Conversion," the startup offers external advertisers ad placement in its inserts.
Dominik Romer, founder and CEO of Adnymics, said of the use of the newly raised funds:
"The majority of the investment will go into the further development of our Target Packaging and Target Conversion products. We also want to use the additional capital to better serve our sales territory."
Only in November, Adnymics was 11th Print & Media Awards as most innovative company of the year excellent.
