Tradelink secures 3 million euros in financing

The Munich-based startup Tradelink is dedicated to digitizing logistics processes. Now, just six months after its founding, the young company has secured €3 million in seed funding from investors Point Nine and Fly Ventures.

The logistics industry has a great need for digitalization: On the one hand, every year, a good 1 billion truck deliveries Europe, on the other hand, this is still organized by telephone, leaflets, and Excel spreadsheets. The Munich-based startup Tradelink is addressing this issue and aims to enable the industry to exchange information in a standardized manner.

With its platform The Munich-based startup enables delivery data, customers, and logistics service providers to be connected in just a few clicks, mapping all processes, and eliminating the need to develop additional interfaces. Tradelink thus makes it possible to structure communication between a multitude of partners while simultaneously making information available to the various stakeholders along the supply chain in the best possible way. This should reduce waiting times and empty runs, ultimately cutting costs. The startup's goal is to create an "Amazon feeling in the B2B sector."

Investment and expert support for Tradelink

In addition to the investment by Fly Ventures and Point Nine, expert support has also come on board. Gabriel Matuschka and Pawel Chudzinski, two experienced SaaS investors, are expanding Tradelink's board. In addition, the company has Startup with Stephan Kniewasser, the former managing director of Transporeon, and other logistics experts on board.

Frederic Krahforst, CEO and founder of Tradelink, says:

"It's simply great fun to develop Tradelink together with logistics decision-makers and users. The logistics industry is full of pragmatic entrepreneurs who, like us, are decisive and willing to optimize. That's what unites us! We're delighted that with the support of Fly and Point Nine, we can now expand our platform even faster and connect as many companies and logistics providers as possible."

Pawel Chudzinski explained:

"We've been excited about the opportunities in the logistics industry for some time. What excites us about TradeLink and the team is their extremely user-centric approach to the problem."

And Gabriel Matuschka added:

"TradeLink is already delivering immediate value to its customers while fundamentally rethinking the rules of the industry. We still have a lot to figure out together, but Frederic and Tobias' team is working at a rapid pace."
