The award-winning companies prevailed in the jury session during SET Week, which was held virtually for the first time this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, replacing the SET Tech Festival. At the fourth edition of the SET Awards, the 15 finalist teams, selected in the spring from 570 applications from 90 countries, presented their ideas to the international jury of experts.

Andreas Kuhlmann, Chairman of the Dena Management Board, is pleased:

This is good, because with innovative solutions and smart approaches, we are shaping a climate-friendly future. We want to harness this momentum with the SET initiative. The SET100 list offers a current insight into the industry. Every year, the SET Initiative publishes the 100 most innovative and promising applicants for the SET Awards. This compilation demonstrates the wealth of ideas being put into working on climate protection and the goals of the energy transition in all parts of the world.
EcoG wins in the category 'Smart Mobility'
Among the award-winning startups is also a Munich-based company: EcoGThe startup was able to convince the jury in the category Smart mobility EcoG provides the IoT operating system and all software components required to build electric car chargers. EcoG also develops and integrates the charger software. This is intended to make the charging infrastructure more flexible and advance the electrification of the transport sector.
