DICA Accelerator seeks innovations for the beverage industry

Especially during the coronavirus crisis, innovative solutions for the industry are in high demand. The DICA Accelerator is looking for startups with ideas for the beverage industry. Applications are open until November 15.

DICA stands for Drink Innovation Campus. The DICA Accelerator of the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) is seeking ideas for the beverage industry in the areas of logistics, production, and distribution, or sustainability in packaging and materials. The accelerator is very open-minded: Whether it's new blockchain technologies, innovative digital application management, revolutionary process innovations, or sustainable products—as long as the idea can be applied to the beverage industry, the SCE sees potential for acceleration and co-creation.

Startup teams from all phases of development are sought. The program aims to accelerate collaboration between startups and established companies. The resulting B2B co-creation process combines the innovative strength of startups with the experience and implementation capabilities of corporations.

How startups benefit from the DICA Accelerator

How does the program work? After your written application, there will be a pre-matching workshop for selected startups with recognizable potential for B2B co-creation. At a matching event, industrial companies and startups get to know each other. After that, the actual implementation begins. Incidentally, the live events have currently been replaced by virtual events.

Also exciting for startups: In addition to the mentors who accompany the processes, the DICA Accelerator offers a material budget of 1,000 euros per startup.

You can Apply here by November 15.
