E-bot7 Bavarian state winner at the KfW Award Gründen

KfW has once again honored 16 state and one national winner in its KfW Award Gründen startup competition. The Munich-based startup E-bot7 triumphed in Bavaria.

E-bot7 from Munich emerged as the Bavarian state winner of the KfW Award and received 1,000 euros in prize money. Startup was founded in 2016 by Fabian Beringer, Xaver Lehmann, and Maximilian Gerer. They have developed an AI platform for automating customer communication. This helps companies increase efficiency in customer service. E-bot7 also develops and integrates artificial intelligence and deep learning into existing CRM customer service systems. This allows customer service inquiries and processes to be automated and made more effective by analyzing incoming messages and supporting customer service representatives with suggested responses. The average processing time is expected to be reduced by around 80 percent. The Munich-based company employs 80 people and has additional offices in London, Amsterdam, and Paris. Co-founder Xaver Lehmann says:

KfW Award Gründen “acts as an encouragement”

The banking group has been awarding the KfW Award Gründen to young companies from all 16 German states, as well as one national winner, since 1998. This year's national winner is Ooia from Berlin. Ingrid Hengster, Member of the Board of KfW, says:

"With this award, KfW aims to both honor successful founders and contribute to public recognition for the courage to become self-employed. This year in particular, the competition serves as a source of encouragement and recognizes the tremendous achievements of young companies."
