Initially limited to three and a half weeks, Europe's largest long-distance bus provider is resuming its service in Germany. In addition to major cities such as Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, and Cologne, smaller towns and rural areas will also be served. The network encompasses a total of 150 destinations.
“We will dynamically adapt our network to the situation in the new year.”
With the start of the new year, the lockdown light regulations will remain in effect for the time being. Travel activities will continue to be restricted.
“First of all, we are pleased that we can enable people to travel to their families with Flixbus and help relieve the burden on other means of transport,”
says André Schwämmlein, co-founder and managing director of Flixbus's parent company Flixmobility.
"Even in the current difficult situation, we will continue to offer travelers a reliable, safe, yet affordable service. This is our contribution to security of supply. Currently, our service is only available temporarily until January 11. This is our response to the political and social conditions and we will dynamically adapt our network to the situation in the new year."
