DICA stands for 'Drink Innovation Campus'. Now the accelerator program and the innovation ecosystem of the beverage industry are entering a new phase. Especially in the current Corona crisis, innovative ideas and solutions for the changes in the industry are in great demand. Therefore, the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) for the accelerator for innovative startups with applications for the beverage industry.
The focus is on innovative solutions for digitalization in logistics, production, and distribution. Ideas related to sustainability in packaging and materials are also exciting. Whether new blockchain technologies, innovative approaches to digital applications, or process innovations – as long as the idea has a practical application in the beverage industry, startups can apply. Startups with innovative products for the industry are also welcome to participate.
DICA advances startups with experts and material resources
The goal of the DICA program is to accelerate the development of startups and established companies. The B2B co-creation process combines innovative strength with experience and strong implementation skills. The program is supported by various innovation partners such as the Hassia Group (Bionade), Inside-Getränke, Drinktec, and the Ardagh Group. The SCE complements the specialist expertise with know-how from startup support and innovation acceleration. This pools industry and startup expertise for founders in the beverage industry.
With inclusion in the DICA batch, startups will have access to innovation partners from industry for intensive exchange and potential collaboration. In addition, the SCE provides a budget of €1,000 per startup for material resources.
The selection for the DICA program and the matching will take place virtually on June 16, 2021.
