Some startups had already developed products before the pandemic that are urgently needed in the Corona crisis. Retorio is apparently one of these startups. Software from Munich is designed to simplify the application process. Using artificial intelligence, Retorio analyzes videos and helps companies find the right candidate for a vacant position. Nevertheless, the two founders summarize Christoph Hohenberger and Patrick Oehler in the current episode of our video series #DieWeltnachCorona:
“We think there is no real winner in this crisis.”
What is more important is that everyone in the company has stayed healthy.
Is Retorio a Corona winner after all?
During the pandemic, a new use case for the Retorio solution emerged, as the two founders report: companies want to use the software for training.
Several other developments during the pandemic are playing into the Munich-based company's hands: Companies are increasingly targeting potential applicants internationally. This increases the pool of potential job candidates and the benefits of the Retorio software. Patrick Oehler says in the video:
“We see that our technology creates enormous added value and will continue to do so in the future.”
Many applicants have also lost their fear of the camera in the past year, which makes the use of the solution easier.
