The m4 Award is entering its sixth round: Teams from universities, university hospitals and non-university research institutions can now apply for the Bavarian pre-start-up funding program. Requirement: You are conducting research on an application-oriented project that addresses the challenges of future medicine. The winning teams will receive up to €500,000 over a period of two years to validate their approaches. In addition, the funded projects will receive comprehensive project support on the path to company establishment.
Support is provided for research-based, yet application-oriented projects that serve the development and testing of innovative products and technologies in the field of medical biotechnology. Possible topics include innovative active ingredients and therapies, platform technologies, and biotechnology and digital health.
Application deadline is March 13
You want to apply? Then please send your application by March 13th a 5-page short description of your project. If you receive a recommendation for the second stage following your application, you can submit a 15-page outline by June 9, 2021.
The m4 The award jury, made up of industry experts and investors, will review the sketches and invite selected projects to a presentation in September.4 Award 2021 will be presented on the first evening of the Bioentrepreneurship Summit awarded in October.
