Launchpad Innovation Award: 100,000 euros for the 'Startup of the Year'

Amazon is looking for the European "Startup of the Year." The winners will receive €100,000 in prize money. Applications are open until March 28.

The competition can be held Startups from Europe that sell physical products to consumers. A jury will initially shortlist 15 finalists, from which the five most innovative startups will be selected. The five finalists will each receive €10,000 in prize money, free access to the startup marketplace Amazon Launchpad for one year, and advertising placements. The first-place "Startup of the Year" award will receive an additional €90,000.

"Since launching Amazon Launchpad, we've supported over 2,000 startups in Europe. With the awards, we're now creating an additional platform for emerging brands and are looking forward to inspiring our customers with many new and innovative products."

Startups applying for the award must be trademark owners and registered in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. They must also employ fewer than 50 people, have been operating for less than 10 years, and have an annual turnover of less than €10 million.
