This year, the ContentshiftAccelerator Innovative business models from startups with solutions for the book and content industry – from new technologies for texts and reading to marketing tools and products that communicate content. The Börsenverein Group's internationally oriented funding program brings together founders, experts, and investors to jointly promote innovation in the book industry. Participating startups can validate their business models and attract investors in workshops and coaching sessions. The program culminates with the selection of the "Content Startup of the Year," which receives €10,000 in funding.
"With the Contentshift initiative's accelerator program, we connect book and content startups directly with the book industry and support them in developing their business models. This allows them to accompany the book industry with their ideas in an exciting transformation process. We are excited about their approaches, for example, to process knowledge, simplify collaboration, and inspire people about books today and in the future."

Five startups will be selected for the accelerator program from all applications received. The application period ends on May 1, 2021. All selected founders will receive comprehensive coaching and advice from experts for several months starting July 1. The culmination will be a co-creation workshop for startups and jury members in early September. The accelerator program concludes at the Frankfurt Book Fair, where all participants will pitch their further developed business ideas. During this workshop, the jury will select the "Content Startup of the Year" and award the prize money.
