How are things going at Sono Motors? The Munich-based startup recently announced that it has now registered 13,000 private customer reservations for its Sion (Solar Electric Vehicle) with an average down payment of €3,000. Those reserving the Sion primarily live in Germany and the DACH region, but the company has also received an increasing number of reservations from countries such as Italy, Spain, Portugal, Finland, and Mauritius.

The need is there, only the product is still missing. Because while in the October 2020 While there was talk of a production start in 2022, Sono Motors is now planning to start production in 2023.
