To ensure their long-term production, raw materials industries must not only produce more efficiently and cost-effectively, but also demonstrate positive impacts on the environment and society. To do this, they need solutions that not only increase their raw material productivity but also enable them to develop and extract resources sustainably. Closing material cycles and recycling are also important approaches to achieving sustainable agriculture and water management.
At the Bavarian Green Technologies Congress, startups from Bavaria offering such solutions can present themselves to large corporations, SMEs, and other young companies. Organizers Bayern International and the Bavarian Representative Office for Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru, together with their partner ProChile, have ensured that numerous South American companies seeking precisely such solutions will be present at the event. Among others, the mining and petroleum, agriculture and food industry, forestry and wood industry, fishing and aquaculture, and the construction industry will be represented.
Renewable energies will also be an important topic at the congress. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the energy demand of all Latin American countries will increase by a total of 70 percent by 2030. This increased demand should, of course, consist of as large a share of renewable energies as possible. However, the heterogeneity of Latin American markets and their geographical characteristics pose particular challenges.
The Bavarian Green Technologies Congress will take place every afternoon from June 15 to 17. Interested startups can apply online for a place as an exhibitor and in the pitch format.
