After a successful Seed financing 2019 The Fraunhofer spin-off Ampeers Energy can BIG as an investor. The amount of the investment was not disclosed. Both companies intend to cooperate beyond the financial investment in the future. The goal of the partnership is to make the emission reduction of BIG's real estate portfolio economically viable by combining integrated energy concepts with a focus on decentralized energy generation.
Decarbonization of the portfolio
In addition to the company in Germany, the partners are establishing an Austrian joint venture that will offer CO2 reduction solutions on the Austrian real estate market.

Since the Fraunhofer spin-off was founded two years ago, the company has already grown to 35 employees. The new market conditions are driving rapid growth in demand for holistic solutions for the integration of renewable energies, heat supply, and mobility.
