Sevenventures Pitch Day 2021: Media performance to be won

The Sevenventures Pitch Day is entering a new round. Young companies can apply for this year's virtual event until June 18. The prize will be €3 million in media funding for a video campaign. The winning team will also receive a budget to produce their own TV commercial.

Applications are open to creative and innovative startups with consumer-oriented products and services that want to quickly scale their business model and are already at a stage of development where they can sustainably benefit from the advertising power of a video campaign. The competition is aimed primarily at German B2C growth companies that want to quickly gain market share in the domestic market, as well as international companies that are about to expand into Germany. The application period runs until 18 June 2021.

Final on July 6

After the submission deadline, the four selected finalists will compete against each other in a live streaming event on July 6th from 2 p.m. on the stage of the Sevenventures Pitch Day in a Prosiebensat.1 TV studio in Munich.

In the final, the startups pitch in front of a jury made up of proven industry experts: In addition to TV presenter and Startup investor Joko Winterscheidt Florian Weber, Chief Commercial Officer of Sevenventures, and Kathrin Nusser, Chief Financial Officer of the online beauty shop Flaconi, decide on the quality of the presentations and award the most convincing business model.

Milestone for brand building

Florian Weber, Member of the Executive Board and Chief Commercial Officer at Sevenventures, says about the current competition:

The winner of the final round will be rewarded with nothing less than their own TV and digital campaign worth millions. This represents a growth accelerator and a true milestone in brand building. Ultimately, increasing brand awareness through media is a key success factor for startups in the scaling phase. The winner of this year's digital Pitch Day will benefit from this in the long term.
