On 3 February the first HIGH JUMP Conference at the LMU Munich Over 70 representatives from universities, institutions, companies, and startups participated in the new conference focusing on "Cooperation, a challenge for startups and companies – new impulses from science and practice."
The new concept, which evolved from the previous Bavarian University Founders' Day, had a successful premiere. Keynote speeches explored the key topic of cooperation from various academic perspectives, including pedagogy and business administration. Following on from these, intensive workshops and highly creative knowledge cafés were held, linking the topics to practical applications.

Even outside of the workshops and cafés, the participants used the HOCHSPRUNG conference to engage in lively exchanges with one another.
After this successful launch of the new format, there will definitely be a sequel in 2016.
HOCHSPRUNG is the network of start-up consultants and entrepreneurship lecturers at universities in Bavaria. Through information, exchange, and training, we promote university-based start-up consulting and thereby create a sustainable entrepreneurship culture at the institutions (www.hoch-sprung.de).
