In search of the Spotifys and Netflixes of tomorrow: The Wavelab incubator supports ideas that disrupt, complement, or support the cultural and creative industries. To this end, it offers individually tailored coaching sessions with suitable experts from its network, matching and exchange with experienced mentors from culture, tech, and business, as well as free coworking space.
The network of the incubator This provides access to cultural institutions and companies – from subculture to high culture – and connects young companies with other players in the Munich startup ecosystem and technology companies. Investors, sponsors, and potential customers are also part of this network.
Application by August 31
We are looking for teams of at least two founders who are willing to focus entirely on their startup during their time in Wavelab. Furthermore, the idea should have a clear connection to music, arts, or media and utilize new technologies such as AI, machine learning, VR, AR, XR, or similar. A working prototype is not required, but one should also not be too far away.
Anyone who would like to apply to participate in the Wavelab Incubator has until August 31st. Online application You will need a pitch deck, team video, and a financial plan. From all submitted applications, Wavelab will then shortlist the best startups by September 24th, which will then be invited to an online pitch and introductory call. The three teams that make it into the incubator will be announced on October 8th, and the program will then start one month later on November 8th.
