'Start-up competition – Digital Innovations' enters a new round

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy's "Start-up Competition – Digital Innovations" is entering a new round. The current batch of the competition focuses on sustainable solutions. Prize money of up to €32,000, networking opportunities, and the chance to win the "Digital Sustainability" special prize, which comes with an additional €10,000, are up for grabs. Applications are open until October 20th.

Founding teams wishing to participate in the 'Start-up Competition - Digital Innovations' submit idea sketches online. These should outline the innovation and benefits of the idea, address the founders' technical and business skills, and describe their networking with potential customers and partners. Video footage can also be submitted. A company does not need to be founded yet.

'Start-up Competition – Digital Innovations' announces winners in April

In addition to the cash prizes for the winning teams, the Competition Content feedback on the submissions. All participants will receive a written evaluation of their ideas regarding strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The top 50 participants will have the opportunity to revise their submissions in the second phase, from December 20 to January 17, based on the feedback and re-upload them via the submission portal.

The jury will select the winners from these submissions. The awards ceremony will take place in April at the Bitkom Congress Hub Berlin. All participants in the second phase will receive further written feedback.

Previous winners of the startup competition include a number of Munich startups, including Aigora, Ebenbuild, Mergerspot, Ocell, Orbem, QboundRoVi Robot Vision (now Visevi Robotics), Twaice and Wunderx (today Remberg)
