Filics brings seed investors on board

Filics is developing an autonomous transport robot. Venture capital investors 10x and Robotic Ventures, the Schleswig-Holstein-based company Elokon, the Initiative for Industrial Innovators, and former Jungheinrich CTO Klaus Dieter Rosenbach are now investing in the Munich-based company.

Filics is working on an autonomous transporter for Euro pallets. Unlike a conventional pallet truck, the two runners move independently and autonomously.

“Belief in the strong use cases for the patent-pending Filics solution”

Elokon Managing Director Alexander Glasmacher says his company was particularly impressed by the professional fundraising process of the young founding team:

"We believe in the strong use cases for the patent-pending Filics solution and see great synergy potential between Filics and Elokon. We look forward to supporting Filics as a co-owner in the development, marketing, and sales of the transport robot. Next, we plan to hold a 'TechChallenge' in which Elokon development staff will challenge the Filics solution for even better product development."

In addition, the company, based in Tornesch in the Pinneberg district, invited the Munich-based company to exhibit its product at the Elokon exhibition stand at Logimat 2022 in Stuttgart.
