Utry.me: Growing community and profit

Utry.me can report positive figures: The first online tasting market that operates without prices is expanding its community and the number of its partner companies.

Founded in Munich in 2018, Online tasting market Utry.me is not only boasting a growing community, but also increasing the number of its partner companies. Launched with equity of €5,000, the company also expects seven-figure sales by the end of the year.

Utry.me offers a platform for new products from the beauty, beverage, food, drugstore, indulgence, pet, and other categories, but without specific prices. As you fill your virtual shopping cart, a bar indicates when the limit of €24.90 has been reached. To familiarize the community with these products, the company regularly hosts digital live trade fairs. With this concept, the Utry.me community grew from 50,000 to 160,000 members. The number of partner companies, which in turn benefit from the community's reviews, surveys, and feedback, also doubled to 500. By the end of the year, the startup achieved seven-figure sales.

Larger storage areas and decentralized team

"This proves that the decisions made last year to invest in larger warehouse space and expand the decentralized team were spot on. Only in this way can orders be processed and dispatched quickly,"

explained Utry.me-Co-founder André Moll.
