A whole series of prominent entrepreneurs entrust their money to the VC investor UVC Partners: In addition to the Celonis-Co-founder Bastian Nominacher invest the FlixbusFounders Jochen Engert, Daniel Krauss, and André Schwämmlein, as well as the family offices of the Strüngmann, Klatten, and Schörghuber entrepreneurial families, invested in the third fund of UnternehmerTUM-VC. The investor raised a total of €255 million.
“Our own success story is closely intertwined with UVC Partners,”
says Jochen Engert, founder of Flixbus.
"Having benefited from the UVC ecosystem at various levels over the past few years, we know from our own experience how precisely UVC Partners can identify the game changers of tomorrow and lead them to success. That's why we are investing in the fund ourselves today and believe in the startups that will soon benefit from it."
Bastian Nominacher, Co-CEO and co-founder of Celonis, says:
"It's admirable what UVC Partners has built together with UnternehmerTUM over the past few years. Numerous startups have benefited from UVC Partners' experience in building their companies and entering the market over the past few years, and I'm proud to be part of this unique ecosystem in the TU Munich startup environment."
UVC Partners wants to “invest in the game changers of tomorrow”
It is a great confirmation of the work of the VC company that founders who have known the company for a long time and in which they have partly invested themselves are now investing in the fund, says John of Borries, Managing Partner at the investor:
“With the new fund, we want to continue exactly where we left off and invest again in the game changers of tomorrow.”
The TUM economics professor Ann-Kristin Achleitner participates in the fund. She says:
"I have been observing and supporting the development of UVC Partners for many years and am convinced that they will play a key role in a new European wave of startups that successfully bring fundamental innovations to market."
