Dear Munich Startup readers,
A turbulent year lies behind us. Despite all adversities, the Munich startup scene has once again managed to achieve success in 2021. For example, we were able to stable summer of Munich startups report, a Record new investments and the first Munich Decacorn. The German Startup Monitor also found that Munich startups are growing fastest in Germany, which is also reflected in the fact that the number of Munich Unicorns has risen again.
But of course, the coronavirus pandemic continues to affect young companies. A KfW study in the autumn, for example, counted fewer startups in Germany than in the previous yearSo let's hope that the coming year will be a little less turbulent.
