The Bavarian Innovation Award is entering a new round. Since 2012, the initiative, jointly launched by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Association of Bavarian Chambers of Industry and Commerce, and the Association of Bavarian Chambers of Skilled Crafts, has been seeking outstanding innovative achievements every two years. The awards recognize product and process innovations as well as innovative technology-oriented services that have already achieved initial market success or whose market success is foreseeable.
At the last awards ceremony in 2020 Among others, the Munich startups Advitos and Presize convince the jury.
A total of seven prizes will be awarded
This year, the Bavarian Innovation Award will once again award up to seven main and special prizes. In addition to first to third place, the jury will also recognize companies in the following categories:
– Companies with fewer than 50 employees
– Startups up to 5 years old
– Cooperation between business and science
– Special Jury Prize
Application period for the Innovation Award ends on April 1
All awards are honorary prizes and do not carry any financial rewards. The prize consists of a certificate and a sculpture. In addition, all award winners will be portrayed in a short film, which will be shown during the awards ceremony and subsequently made available to the companies for promotional purposes.
