The following can apply for the award: Startups in the pre-seed, seed, or Series A phases that have already received initial financing of at least €100,000. The specific age of the company is irrelevant.
The winner of the Iqvia Start-up Award will receive a customized service package. With access to Iqvia services and technologies valued at €30,000, the company will support the further development of the winning project. Specifically, this means that the winner will be invited to an introductory workshop with Iqvia experts. There, they will work together to develop the necessary steps to successfully develop the idea. The creation of a project plan will be followed by implementation, with sparring partners from the health tech company on hand.
In addition, the winning startup will receive support from Aescuvest for its future growth. The investor will provide €5,000 for a financing campaign and offer Healthtech Connect, an innovation consultancy specializing in the integration of technologies in industrial environments.
Process of the Iqvia Start-up Award
All startups participating in the award will be presented on a website with a description of their business idea and a pitch video, and a voting function will be integrated. The company receiving the most votes will advance directly to the finals. Further finalists will then be selected by a panel of experts. All finalists will then have the opportunity to present their projects to industry experts and the panel of experts in a pitch during the hybrid "Future Health Start-up of the Year" event. Applications are possible online until 1 April 2022The event is planned for May 5th in Munich.
