I-care Award seeks digital innovations in care

The French pharmaceutical company Servier will once again present its i-care Award in 2022. With this award, the company recognizes startups and young companies developing digital health applications. The application deadline is May 31.

The i-care Award recognizes up to three innovative digital health applications that enable caregivers in outpatient care services, day care centers, inpatient care facilities, or hospitals to devote more time and quality to direct contact with patients and those in need, thus making care more humane. The first-place winners will receive funding of up to €5,000. The winners will be announced at the German Nursing Day 2022 in Berlin.

Participation in the i-care Award

To be eligible to participate in the competition, the digital application product in question must have been marketed in Germany since January 1, 2019, at the earliest. Furthermore, the companies must be headquartered in the DACH region, be less than five years old (founded after January 1, 2017), and have fewer than 100 employees. An interdisciplinary jury will decide on the award.

At the last i-Care Award, the Munich startup Cliniserve The Cliniserve enables nurses and hospital staff to spend more time with patients with its digital mobile application. Smart task management helps reduce duplicate walking and time-consuming phone calls, as well as prioritize and delegate tasks.
