Noyes Technologies develops Noyesstorage, a automated small warehouse for quick and e-commerce providers, parcel delivery services, and many other applications. The nano-warehouses are designed for use in large cities and can be flexibly expanded. Through the collaboration with Viessmann Refrigeration Solutions, Noyesstorage will be equipped with an innovative, modular, and fully automated refrigeration system. This should significantly simplify the storage of products with special hygiene and temperature requirements. The integrated offering is scheduled to be available from 2023. Both companies plan a long-term partnership.
“We are proud to have a market leader like Viessmann on our side”
Quick commerce providers must comply with a wide range of regulations when handling food, such as maintaining the cold chain and checking the best-before date of perishable foods. Due to high rents in urban areas, storage systems must also be configured to be as space-efficient as possible. The joint solution from Noyes and Viessmann is designed to meet these requirements. Marco Prueglmeier, Co-founder and CEO of Noyes, says:
"Until now, there has been no solution on the market for storing various products with different temperature requirements in a confined space in an energy-efficient and flexible manner. Through the partnership with Viessmann, Noyes Technologies is now developing a pioneering system with measurable added value for customers. We are proud to have a market leader like Viessmann on our side to jointly shape the logistics of the future."
Frank Winters, CEO of Viessmann Refrigeration Solutions, says:
"We are proud to have such an innovative company as Noyes, with its extensive expertise in robotics, as our partner. This know-how, combined with Viessmann's digital, sustainable, and integrated solution offering, creates a pioneering offering, particularly for urban logistics. Both traditional retailers and quick-commerce companies are welcome to contribute to a revolutionary new ecosystem that brings food safely to people."
