The Zeidler Research Foundation, the Technical University of Munich and UnternehmerTUM have honored three teams of scientists for their research projects with the TUM IdeAward. Since 2012, the annual award has recognized outstanding ideas and technologies with market potential at TUM. The goal of the competition is to develop promising technologies into marketable products and services.
First place, worth €15,000, goes to the Li.plus project team. The founders are developing a rapid tester for various battery types. Second place and €12,500 goes to a medical technology project thatartificial lymph nodes Third place, endowed with 10,000 euros, goes to the developers of the software technology Chromosome IndustrialThis makes it possible to adapt the configuration of a production plant to new requirements automatically and in real time.
Around 60 teams applied for the prize. In addition to the Zeidler Research Foundation The winners will receive coaching from the TUM Start-up Consulting.
