Vegan alternatives to fish, meat, eggs or even chocolate can not only be found more and more in supermarkets, but are also being addressed by this Munich startup.
Their love for chocolate has inspired the three DjoonFounders Leon, Carolin, and Martin were introduced to the chocolate-making world. However, they found conventionally produced chocolates to contain too much processed sugar, and long ingredient lists and opaque sources, especially for cocoa, put them off. With their startup, Djoon, the three want to break new ground: They use only vegan, organic ingredients for their chocolates, a maximum of five ingredients per variety, and everything from sustainable and partner-based sources.
