The Canadian-based content marketing platform ScribbleLive acquires the Munich-based startup ScomplerThe startup develops software for strategic content planning.
The startup, founded by Mirko Lange and Rudolf Hattenkofer, offers companies and publishers differentiated content planning based on consumer interests, channels, formats, and media. According to the company, Scompler counts Deutsche Bahn, Vattenfall, HRS, Zalando, and XXXLutz among its customers. Following an international market screening, ScribbleLive acquired Scompler and its software technology and brought founder Mirko Lange into its management team as Vice President of Content Strategy. At the same time, ScribbleLive aims to strengthen its presence in the German-speaking market and expand into additional market segments. Currently, media companies such as ARD, RTL, dpa, Spiegel, FAZ, and Süddeutsche Zeitung use the ScribbleLive platform in Germany. From offices in Munich and Berlin, ScribbleLive plans to further expand into the German-speaking region in the future. ScribbleLive is also building an additional development team in Munich, led by Scompler co-founder Rudolf Hattenkofer as CTO.
