German Entrepreneurship Center opens in Munich

On the occasion of the company's 15th anniversary, Andy Goldstein and Matthias Notz, Managing Directors and co-founders of German Entrepreneurship, opened the new German Entrepreneurship Center on the Campus of Ideas in Balanstraße.

The German Entrepreneurship Center in the east of the city will be the hub of the new, in-house and early-stage startups Master Accelerator International guests are also welcome here, especially for the programs of the German Accelerator, which was initiated by German Entrepreneurship 10 years ago and is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection. Mexican and Chilean startups were recently welcomed to the new center in Munich.

With programs such as German Accelerator and the Master Accelerator, German Entrepreneurship aims to specifically support European and international startups. With a global network of experts, more than 750 startups have been supported since 2008 – including Munich-based unicorns such as Flixbus and Celonis.

“Meeting place for international startups”

At the opening of the new center, Matthias Notz:

"Our center is a vibrant meeting place in the Munich ecosystem, but also a meeting place for international startups as well as our colleagues from the US and Asia. Furthermore, the spaces are open to all partners and friends for exchange and inspiration."

“Host for the ecosystem”

Andy Goldstein adds:

“With Co-Founder Match and Cashwalk Not only do our own startup pitch and matchmaking events take place here regularly, but we also host ecosystem events, workshops, and coaching sessions throughout the year.”

Flixbus founder and German Entrepreneurship alumnus Jochen Engert also spoke with young entrepreneurs during a Unicorn Talk at the opening ceremony. The German Entrepreneurship Center is located on the Campus of Ideas, Balanstraße 73, Building 19B / Ground Floor, 81541 Munich.
