The Makers Scholarship was initiated by the non-profit educational and research organization Creative Entrepreneurship (KU) and consists of a multi-layered and individualized mentoring program. Independent of traditional expectations of success, the primary focus of this scholarship is entrepreneurial activity and the resulting impact on a desirable social future. The goal of this program is to enable and promote social innovation through entrepreneurial initiative. Makers from all disciplines are eligible to apply, as a look at previous scholarship participant teams demonstrates.
