The application phase for the second batch of the Master Accelerator has begun. Early-stage startups can apply for the program now until September 4. Applications should include a compelling pitch deck. The Master Accelerator program starts on October 17.
Office space, network and coaching
The 6-month program includes coaching on individual topics with mentors, knowledge transfer on fundraising, and access to the German Entrepreneurship Ecosystem with experts, investors, industry partners, and successful startup founders. At the newly opened German Entrepreneurship Center in Munich, participants have access to a free full-time workplaceNetworking and after-work events also take place here.
After six months of training, the support continues: for 18 additional months, the startups can not only use on-demand meeting and conference rooms in the co-working space, but also access the ecosystem and the opportunity for further coaching.
Founders can best take advantage of all the benefits in person in Munich. However, applications are welcome from all over Germany, and much of the program content is offered virtually. Some mandatory sessions, however, must be attended in Munich. Participation does not require the sale of company shares; a participation fee in the form of a 2 percent success fee on completed financing rounds is charged from the start of the program until 18 months thereafter. If no funding is received, the program remains free of charge.
Voices from the 1st batch
Lucas Fuhrmann, Co-Founder of Lovr, says:
"We've made tremendous progress, especially in the areas of fundraising and sales/partnerships. Not only through exciting coaching sessions with Andy Goldstein, among others, but also through personal meetings with other high-potential founding teams."
Maria-Liisa Bruckert, co-founder of Sqin, says:
"The Master Accelerator was the strongest program we've participated in so far. What impressed us most were the many inspiring people we were able to get to know so closely here, unlike anywhere else. The network is not only enormous but also very effective, as it's extremely resilient and personal. Collaboration is a top priority here."
Tim Haug, Co-Founder of Enna Systems, adds:
"Thanks to the Master Accelerator's large pool of mentors, we were able to find the right companions for our startup. Through regular exchanges with our mentors, we were able to gain important insights and access to their network."
And Christian Laimer, Co-Founder of Flinker, adds:
"Through the organized events, we were able to build an important network, especially in the startup sector. Furthermore, during our six-month participation in the Master Accelerator, we were able to improve our pitch to everyone and feel investor-ready."
