AI+Munich supports talents and startups in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) to to promote the innovation density based on this future technology in MunichOne focus is on the responsible use of AI. However, the development of an AI ecosystem to strengthen co-creation potential and the targeted promotion of emerging startups through special prototype funding are also key. MUST, the SCE as well as the TUM Venture Labs together.
The newly announced pitch competition focuses on innovative startup ideas that originated in Bavaria or are believed to have originated here. The competition offers funding of up to €25,000, as well as additional support from AI+Munich, for example, through the initiative's expert network.
The application deadline is September 5
Startups and other interested parties can apply until September 5. To do so, they must submit a compelling read deck as well as CVs and references of the team members by email to contact@aimunich.com The initiative provides a template for the read deck here. The pitch event itself will take place on October 5.
AI+Munich is a project of the EXIST funding program "Start-ups from Science" of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK), which announced in mid-2021 that it would promote the funding of startups in the field of AI. At the time, it stated that "in addition to concrete startup foundations, the main focus would be on networking universities and research institutions with existing AI companies and the economy as a whole in selected regions."
