Schubert founded Heimkapital in 2019 together with Dimitrij Miller and Benedikt Wenninger. The platform launched in spring 2020. Since then, Heimkapital has seen growing demand for partial real estate sales in Germany, which is primarily seen as an alternative to traditional financing instruments. Heimkapital is one of the “leading providers on the market”
Matthias Sohler, Founder and Managing Director of Yabeo Capital, commented:
"Heimkapital has established itself as one of the leading providers in the market. We were impressed by the team and the business model from the very beginning. As real estate investors, Heimkapital always considers long-term development and is already on track for profitability. We are therefore very pleased to be able to help shape the company's future path."
And Ralf Magerkurth, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Vereinigte Volksbank Raiffeisenbank, adds:
"We continue to see great market potential in Germany. Partial sales combine three key advantages: 1. Owners can release the liquidity tied up in their property. 2. Owners can remain in their familiar surroundings. 3. Owners remain more flexible regarding the future and have all options in their own hands – for example, repurchase is also conceivable. This flexibility is actually the most important advantage for the target group in an ever-changing world."
Frédéric Van den Weghe, Managing Partner at Amavi Capital, has had his eye on the startup for some time:
"Partial property sales create opportunities for financial independence for property owners. Heimkapital has proven itself as a trusted partner for partial sellers, and we clearly see a need in the market for a third alternative alongside a bank loan and the full sale of the property. As a venture capitalist specializing in proptechs, we have been following Heimkapital's path for some time and are very excited to continue the journey together."
