Science4Life launches new competition round

The Science4Life business plan competition kicks off its 25th round with the idea phase. Science4Life supports high-tech startups in the life sciences, chemicals, and energy sectors through all phases of their founding. Business ideas can be submitted online until October 21.

The Science4Life idea phase is currently underway. Founding teams from life sciences and chemistry can submit their ideas to the Science4Life Venture Cup, and energy startups to the Science4Life Energy Cup. In the 25th round of the competition, participating teams have access to online seminars, events, networking contacts, and industry experts from more than 200 companies, as well as the chance to win a total of €85,000 in prize money and receive individual coaching through the Science4Life Academy.

Teams can Register online and submit their idea sketch by October 21, 2022. Each submission will receive a detailed evaluation by industry experts, and the best teams will receive one day of individual coaching at the Academy Day, working with experts to identify the strengths, weaknesses, and future of their business model.

Science4Life with three competition phases

In order to address the individual questions and requirements of startups in every phase of their founding, the business planThe competition is divided into three phases: In the first phase of the competition, the idea phase, the business idea and its market potential are examined in detail. This allows teams to identify opportunities early and adapt their strategy accordingly. In the subsequent concept phase, the business model is developed and fine-tuned together with experts. In the final phase, startups plan their go-to-market in detail, in the form of a business plan or read deck. Interested parties and founders can join at any stage or participate in all phases.
