Flowers aims to reduce expensive Enterprise-level automation technologies To make it accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises. The two founders, Andreas Martin and Daniel Vöckler, focus on providing an overview of workflows and their execution. Once the workflows are defined, the software guides every employee in the company through the process steps and ensures that everything is completed correctly, transparently, and on time.
"There are two universal truths that affect virtually all organizations. First, companies are desperate when it comes to organization. Without a clear overview and a lack of tools, the right hand often doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Information exists in silos, and processes designed to promote transparency and value creation are so cumbersome that they are rarely followed. This leads to costly errors and delays. As a result, companies develop even more complex processes and use tools that aren't fit for purpose, further fragmenting the system landscape."
says Andreas Martin, CEO and co-founder of Flowers Software. He further explains:
"Secondly, every company's business logic is completely unique. But standalone tools are designed as if all companies have the same logic. Therefore, companies struggle to map their processes to the logic of a specific standalone solution. They want a flexible solution that adapts to their needs."
“Flowers sets new standards for small and medium-sized enterprises”
Now, the startup has won over investors for the first time, securing seed funding of €3.2 million. La Famiglia is leading the financing round, with participation from LEA Partners and Collective Ventures. Other investors include Personios co-founder Ignaz Forstmeier, SAP Hybris founder Carsten Thoma, Sevdesk founders Fabian Silberer and Marco Reinbold, and Ironhack co-founder Gonzalo Manrique.
"Flowers sets new standards for small and medium-sized businesses. Efficiency, productivity, and profitability have been significantly increased through hyper-automated workflows. This has resonated with many customers across various industries. With Flowers, companies have, for the first time, software that adapts to their way of working, not the other way around. We are impressed by the product and the sales power that Andreas, Daniel, and the team have already achieved, and we look forward to supporting them in expanding into new markets."
says Judith Dada, General Partner at The Family.
With the new capital, Flowers Software will focus on its European market launch strategy and continued product development. The company is also hiring for software development, customer success, sales, and marketing.
