Recoro wins Munich Digital Innovation Award

The Munich Digital Innovation Award was presented for the seventh time at the Digicon conference. The winner of the innovation prize is the Munich-based startup Recoro.

The Munich Digital Innovation Award is presented annually by the City of Munich, together with Digitale Stadt München eV, to the most innovative company with a future-oriented concept. Participants initially submitted written applications. A jury consisting of Jörg Ochs, CIO of Stadtwerke München (municipal utilities), Christof Schäfer from Airbus Defence and Space, and Michael Zaddach, Senior Digital Advisor at Munich Airport, then selected eight finalists. Each of these finalists created a three-minute video. The winners were then selected, and the top three winners were honored at Digicon. Bernhard Eller from Referat für Arbeit und Wirtschaft of the City of Munich and Claudia Linnhoff-Popien, publisher of the magazine Digitale Welt (Digital World), presented the awards. All videos are available on the Digital conference website available.
