Quantum Systems delivers more drones to Ukraine

Quantum Systems develops and produces electric reconnaissance drones, originally for use in agriculture and the construction sectors. Last year, Ukraine purchased the unarmed drones for the first time. Now, the Ukrainian armed forces have ordered another 105 drones from the Munich-based manufacturer.

The Munich startup Quantum Systems has secured a multi-million-euro contract from Ukraine: The company announced that it has ordered 105 Vector reconnaissance drones. The delivery is being financed by the German government. The unmanned aerial vehicles are intended to support the Ukrainian armed forces on the front lines with reconnaissance and monitor enemy troop movements.

Quantum Systems trains staff in Ukraine

The order is apparently a result of the Ukrainian army's positive experience with the Munich drones. last year Quantum Systems has already delivered 33 drones to Ukraine. The company now announces that training and technical support will be offered on-site in Ukraine. The procurement of spare parts and repair services will also be consolidated locally. Florian Seibel, CEO of Quantum Systems, says:

"We are honored to be able to support Ukraine in defending its country, and we are committed to continuing to deliver the highest quality systems to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Our belief in democratic values and the challenges Ukrainian soldiers face every day only motivate us further and accelerate our development processes. The ability to equip the Vector with combat-proven features and capabilities in a short time is critical for us as a manufacturer and the operators of our systems. All our customers will benefit."
