Start with Business Modelling: Students advise startups

With the "Start with Business Modelling" program, LMU IEC supports founders in developing their business ideas. Applications for startups are open until March 23.

With "Start with Business Modeling," the LMU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center (LMU IEC) enables entrepreneurs to incorporate feedback from student teams into the development of their business ideas. The program is jointly run by the Institute for Innovation Management and the Institute for Business Education at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, as well as the LMU IEC. Students learn how to develop business models with the help of qualified instructors and mentors.

Using a business model canvas, the participating startups are analyzed with regard to various factors such as the value proposition, the target group and the sources of income.

Start with Business Modelling offers startups concrete advantages

The program offers participating startups the following:

  • New ideas for startups
  • Concrete recommendations for the business plan
  • The opportunity to focus on specific areas of the business model
  • Access to current knowledge in the field of startup management
  • Development and expansion of your own network

The business ideas of the participating startups are legally protected by confidentiality agreements and a ban on use for all other participants.
